The Make Hunger History Coalition is made up of a diverse set of stakeholders – from food access, healthcare, public health, local agriculture, elected officials, philanthropy, and grassroots advocates – committing together to achieve the goal: All Massachusetts residents have dignified access to food and the economic resources needed to make choices about their food. Let’s create a better future for the Commonwealth and make hunger history.
EThe coalition has identified 5 key pillars that underly achieving our goal: All Massachusetts residents have dignified access to food and the economic resources needed to make choices about their food.
The work of the Coalition will be driven through Working Groups, one for each of the five pillars of progress.
These action-oriented teams — Pillar Working Groups — are comprised of coalition members, subject matter experts, policymakers, and individuals with lived experience, focused on developing and advancing strategic recommendations towards each of the pillars.
In the face of daunting issues, leaders must come together to do what’s right. When we work together to achieve a goal greater than all of us, we can accomplish it, and that includes eradicating hunger."
