Rally for SNAP at the State House

Hunger is a choice we don’t have to make! Massachusetts families are at risk of going hungry come November if SNAP isn’t funded — and we need you to stand with us at the State House!

On the State House Steps

Tuesday, October 28, 2025 | 12–1PM

Join the Make Hunger History Coalition and anti-hunger advocates from across the Commonwealth this Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 12–1PM on the Massachusetts State House steps (Beacon Street, Boston) for an emergency rally and press event.

Because of the ongoing federal shutdown, SNAP and other nutrition programs are in jeopardy. If action isn’t taken now, more than 1 million of our neighbors could lose access to food starting November 1.

We’re calling on the Trump Administration to immediately fund November SNAP — and urging Governor Healey and our state legislators to act if Washington fails to do so.

Our lineup of speakers and special guests is growing — stay tuned for more announcements!

  • Andrea Campbell, Attorney General of Massachusetts
  • Erin McAleer, President & CEO, Project Bread
